Easier said than done. We are small businesses. Just filing a lien costs lots of money. We are hanging on a thread.... And now we get screwed by another local business. These people even wrote a letter to the contractor saying they were having problems. Problems are one thing... going behind the contractor's back and ordering and having products delivered is another thing.

Does anyone know a decent lawyer in Pagosa? Ha ha ha find me a lawyer that will help reasonably... It was over 600.00 to file the lien... Which employee should I not pay for at least a year to cover the cost of a lawyer.
Even if I go after them with a lawsuit.... in Pagosa who is in bed with how? What is the likelihood of getting a Judge that will be unbiased? That would rule in favor of small business - over Pagosa Hot Springs....
I am in favor of criminal charges. Grand Theft….. And I am meeting with law enforcement outside of Pagosa and this county next Friday afternoon. If that does not work…
I am considering taking matters in my own hands. Such as picketing…. Flyers… poopy diapers… graffiti….anything that will cause financial damage until I and anyone else that needs or wants payback at least gets the satisfaction of knowing their hard earned money is not enjoyed by The owners of Pagosa Hot Springs and Spa. The owner has it within his grasp to end this buy paying all the subcontractors. Not just the one’s they are friends with. And yes they have paid a few of the subcontractors already personally not though the contractor.
As of Friday the last communications that Pagosa Hot Springs had with our company was delivery instructions. Not one return phone call when we asked for payment or before we filed a lien.
